Problem: I have a Tomcat server with only one webapp.

When deploying the server with only the SSL connector defined the webapp cannot be contacted with the browser (404 in both IE and firefox).

Now: the 1st strange thing is that the webapp has no problems whatsoever when the non-ssl connector (8080) is deployed - I can connect at both 8080 and 8443

2nd strange this is that the tomcat library is one I copied from a testsite we have where this setup works without problems i.e. same server, same JDK, same webapp, same server.xml (pasted below) file.. everything...

I've tried just about everything, hostnames, ports, ssl certificate.. everything.

Please help if you know what is wrong here
