Re: [libreoffice-users] common to all pages header
Hi. It's not the paragraph style but the page style you need to look at. Typically a document has several page styles of which 'First page' could be one - and that wouldn't propagate through to the other page styles. The bulk of the document probably uses something like 'Default page style' and that's the one where you need to insert your header material. Philip Ah. It has become clear that my knowledge of ch. 8, 9, 10, & 11 in the manual would seem to be woefully inadequate. I am endeavoring to remedy this deplorable state of affairs. While I have RTFMed, I have obviously misunderstood one or two items. Does your first page have a 'First Page' page style rather than the 'Default Page Style'? - Robert From: Chris J. Sent: December 21, 2023 13:42 To: lo user help Cc: Chris Johnson Subject: [libreoffice-users] common to all pages header Hi, Next problem. I can get a nice page number centered in a footer propagated for all pages no problem. I want to do the same kind of thing in the header, right justified with some words preceding a page number. Again, no problem for the first page only. For some reason it isn't propagating to all the following headers on successive pages. Help much appreciated, as always.
