I don't understand your question.
Which of the following are you wanting to do:
* Right to left, top to bottom: Standard Arabic;
* Right to left: bottom to top;
* Top to bottom: each column is a single glyph;
* Bottom to top: each column is a single glyph;
* Left to Right, top to bottom: Afrikaans was occasionally written this way;
* Left to Right, bottom to top;
* Something else;
