If anybody responds, they might mention to the author that while the
substance of the explanation is true, the name of the temperature scale in
SI Metric was changed from Centigrade to Celsius in 1954.

My wife is in a nursing home in New York City (closest place where her
particular disease can be treated) and I go there on the train every week
and take her out in a wheelchair.
Today we were southbound on Madison Avenue somewhere in the 90s. There is a
small hardware store along the way and
