I think Wiz needs to visit Britain and see for him self.  Go visit the shops
and look what is on the shelves.  See how gasoline (petrol) is sold.  I
wouldn't expect Britain to be 100 % metric, but a lot farther along then
most will tell you.

Yes, maybe the people do still speak imperial, but I'll bet life must be
hell for them.  No society can function with efficiency and ease when their
economy measures one way and they think another.

And if people like this girl  chose to be part of the rebellion, it only
hurts her and people like her in the long term.  They may not want to admit
it, but their resistance is frustrating.
