Today, I obtained several US Golden Dollar coins from a post office
vending machine.  Today and tomorrow I will try using them and see
what type of reactions I get.

My first test was at an Eckerd drugstore in Indialantic, FL, where I
used it to pay for a pack of gum.  The cashier, a man in his 20s,
took it, knew it's value and had no problem or comments.  I'll report
back on more attempts later.

Unfortuntately, I'll be flying back to Canada on Sunday and I won't have
much time to attempt many more experiments.

When I use them I hand them over with no comment, since these are legal U.S. tender and there doesn't need to be any comment using U.S. tender.  I get one of three reactions from the cashier.

1.  None (the desired reaction).

2.  "Oh, it's one of those."

3.  "What is this?"
