The SI-10 document recommends L for liter, and therefore mL for milliliter.

By the way, when my spell checker encounters Naughtin, it recommends naught
in, naughty or naughtiness. I guess I should click on "Add," to avoid that
in the future. <g> (Although "Pat Naughty" has a certain charm.)
