 Subject: Bicycle Speedometer Question
      To: "U.S. Metric Association" <usma@colostate.edu>

I was looking on Craigslist for a speedometer for my Nordic Indie bicycle and the only listing I found was for a couple of antique ones, "Schwinn with a 20-inch drive gear and one Huret with a 27-inch drive gear" so I contacted the guy and asked if the Huret speedometer measures in kilometers or miles. His response was miles, then I asked if possibly the Huret measures in kilometers because it is Made in France. He says I don't know and I don't care. I attach the images hoping that someone knows. The Schwinn speedometer goes up to 40 (I suspect miles) and the French-made Huret speedometer goes up to 60 (km I suspect). Does anyone know for sure?
