You've got to have some way to tie each artist to a CD and vice versa,
so your SQL would look /something/ like this:
SELECT artist, title FROM artists, disc WHERE artist.discid=disc.id
This, of course, would only allow for one disc per artist, which may not
be what you want. I would recommend
Do this to find out if you actually got an array back from your function:
echo PRE;
print_r( $fileList );
echo /PRE;
Your function probably gave you a garbage array.
Also, here's a more fun way to scroll through PHP arrays:
foreach( $fileList as $file )
echo $fileBR;
