[uug] Debian apt problems on campus?

Is anyone else having issues with debian or ubuntu apt on campus? (I'm specifically in a research lab in the Talmage Building.) When I try to update a freshly installed Ubuntu box, I get connection errors on parts of the repository. Example: Get:20 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com
