Distro? Where did you add the WEP key? What is the tool called in
Gnome? At school after trying to connect what is the output of iwconfig?

yeah, it would have been good to include that.
I'm running ubuntu 5.04 (hoary hedgehog). I added the WEP key in
iwconfig in
Middle Earth, by the way, is my essid at home.
