This helmet does fit, just a bit too tight. With my local dealers only
stocking crap, there were no similar helmets near... so took the chance.
I'll sell this helmet if someone wants a good deal on one, if not, I'll keep

No ... you do not ... that is only for normal people .. and does not
apply to a Vmax owner ... Autometer does have "motorcycle" specific
tachometers but they are kind of duds ... theirs come in 8K, 10K and
14K versions and are limited when compared to the capabilities of the
ones

I tried that tire on my Max also, a couple of years ago. Same problem.
Fortunately the dealer replaced the tire with a Dunlop (can't remember which
model, but V rated). It lasted 1000 miles...sigh. Last couple of changes

I lied about the rev-limiter ... if they "ground" the feed lead,
(which would work fine in a single coil arrangement), it would not
work for us . (we can't have two sets of diodes pointing in two
different directions connected to the same lead ... as this would be

requirements. The Mallory Pro Tach I provides rev-limiting via a dial
on the face of the tach .. is 5 inch and has an 11K range. I assumed

No, I sold the entire system and put a Kerker on my bike. The Kerker makes more
torque and HP than the Hindle but the sound of the Hindle was much nicer. I also had
the Hindle ProComp+ 16" can on my bike for a while and it was nice too.

Too large a gap and they won't work. Unless you have hotter coils to
provide the extra juice to make them fire, with the larger gap there is
more resistance and you need more power to get a spark across the gap.

Yes, Then I used the colortune system to set the air/fuel mix. It ran great
for 4 months. All I did was replace the plugs tonight and they fouled in
less than 1 mile. I had them gapped at 32 thousands and I re gapped them to
35 thousands and will try them again tomorrow. I put my stock ones
I shimmed mind a year ago with stock exhaust and never had a problem. it
sure helped the midrange.
