I machined a bar extension that fit in each end. They were 1" longer
plus 1" press fit inside the bar. So each piece is 2" total. Move your
controls out and you are done. I liked it a lot better.

area helped that as well. When I tighten the swingarm
bearings it achieves proper torque with 1\3 the rotation of the stock setup.
Be careful with this mod, if you add a tube too thick, the u-joint will hit.

No, remove all weight prior to balancing a new tire and clean the wheel well
before attaching new weight. The new tire will most likely need weight in a
different location and the old weight may make matters worse.

Metzeler brand tire was the only tire I found in that size that will fit in the
