Ok race fans, i have come up with and wired in a really simple vboost
switch,
i ran the max out this morning and it worked great, its a simple on off
toggle switch that i wired on the throttle assy, it
something to compare to in the future.
This might save you from blaming the synthetic if weird things start
to happen and will allow you to address an out of spec cylinder with
Yamaha before your warranty is up.

Well, interestingly enough, when I added fluid to the clutch (which had just
hit the "lower" mark)---that totally took care of my rough 2nd and 3rd gear
shifts!!
Feels like a new tranny! I never knew that anything that happens ABOVE the

I have installed AMSOIL"S 20w-50 new motorcycle oil with exceptional

the water temp lowered by 1/8 of an inch and the idle speed went up 50 rpm.
They say it has a lot of zinc in it for wet
How would that epoxy paint work for touching up minor chips on the motor

Well, I have the rubber caps, and the top cover is fitting onto them [like
so: Co] (how'd you like my little schematic? :-D)...but I still have an
1/8" of play on one side...hm...the "C" on the top cover must be a
little too big for the "o" rubber cap...maybe some stick-on product to take
resistant.

Yup, it's the right side...took the cap off as you suggested and it's just
plain loose in the receiver part...doesn't look adjustable with breaking the
spot welds either...hmmm your's is loose on the right too...wonder if anyone
else's is like this---if it's common to the breed I feel better
