Dennis,
The older style 4-1,all the head pipes meet at the
same point, 4 into the 1 collector.
With the 4-2-1,the 2 front head pipes meet at a 2-1
Y,along with the 2 rear head pipes, this 2-1 then goes
into the 1 pipe back to the can.
I don't know if this answers your question,as for
Stan,
I was hoping someone would have numbers, did you dyno
your 4-2-1,what did dyno at? It is more fun on the
street,I can gas it in 2nd gear and it will wheelie
around 5-6K..amazes me a bike this big with me on it

Mike,
Your right...4-2-1
Mike, Lang has also thrown us another curve. Seems he's also makng them
with spigots front and rear. Put one on a friends here two months ago
and rear tubes were on piece. Greg Hollis got one and it has seperate
spigots like the older system.
Don "Old Man" Smith
Don,
Was it easier to install? as 1 piece. My 4-2-1 came
with the rear 2 tubes separate from the 2-1 piece that
has the 2 horizontal spirals that are under the engine
block which goes into the 2-1 adapter to the can.
Getting those 2 rear tubes in crossed over one another
was a tight fit..they
It can be both according to how well they fit
