Jim, don't know abot the Micron slip-on, but the Supertrapps are about
the best for a slip-on. STAY AWAY from Cobras, you end up loosing about
10-15 hp. Either Metzler or Pirelli front and the Metzler 880 on the
back. It wears like iron and stick well.

Charles, DON'T! The rim is not wide enough, and will make it steer like
a truck. You need a 3.5 wide rim for it. Also, the bead of the tire
won't seat correctly on the rim.

Steve, you need to drill three 5/16 holes thru the rod. You can use the

The only thing you need a controlled enviroment and done within 10-15
minutes of
each other. Wet and dry bulb readings, Temp. changes. 10* degrees makes
a difference. The Hindle I have was bought 5 yr's ago. I'll still stay

I just spoke with Art about Terry. He's back in Houston with a arm in a
sling after the incident with the driver falling asleep and running off
the road. The transport was totaled and the Funny Bike damaged, time to
rebuild. He had a punctured lung and some sore spots, but will be

Steve, when I did mine, single line to each side, the banjo fittings,
15* amd 30*, were 11.00 apiece, 90* were 16.00. The braided line was
around 70.00 for a 8ft. section. Thought of using the Kevlar, but it
doesn't flex as well and the composition breaks down sooner.

Riding a bike for short periods does more wrong then you think. It needs
at least 20 min. at freeway speeds, 70 mph, to get hot enough to burn
the moisture out. Also the motor has been accumulating moisture over
night and is deposited in the oil. Along with it the by products of the
fuel, sulphur
Brad, I'm suprized, know too many people that have bought his fan blade
replacement and it didn't work. Considering he's in the same class as a
snake oil salesman, I don't recommend anyone buying anything from him.
The claims he makes are not backed up with proof and doesn't stand

True, antifreeze stores heat and doesn't release it as well as plain

They're correct. They use a straight rate spring instead of a
progressive. You need to make longer spacers. The tubing is supplied in
the kit.

James, there are no adjustments, if its slipping time for new discs. The
Kevlar from Barnett, half the price of stock, work great. I've got

Bob, its the only way to get the full cooling effect from it, directions
are on the bottle. For road racing its required that you can't use
antifreeze. Yes you need to have corrision inhibitors, so your better
off using a good antifreeze. TheToyota factory red is used in all their
vehicles,

If you fool with the perimeters on a dyno you can get whatever readings
you want. In this case it may be right. A friend with a bone stock 86
did 119 hp. A new 94 off the floor with only a couple of hunderd miles
did 120 hp. Its all according to how the motor was put together, whether
it was set

Simon, full floaters do rattle unless the brakes are applied, that way
they center themselves to the calipers and less drag. The instabilty
problems above 100, try raising the front back where it was. By going
lowering the front, raising the tubes, you have decreased the trail and
making it less
Also another racer trick is to take stock discs and remove the little
washer that in on the pin that hold the discs in place, maybe on the
inside or outside of it. The reason the factory does it is for the sound
tests they have to pass. Without it they wouldn't.

is to make sure the levels are the same, doesn't matter where as long as

Scott, a couple of things to look at. Does it do it in all gears? Fuel
pump might have trash or blockage of some type, maybe wore out or a
loose connection. Someone mentioned about the phasing of the cams. If
they are incorrect, then thats exactly what will happen at 7,500, is
fall on its face.
I haven't heard of any specs for a load test, but in the past I've
unhooked the line and used a container to hold fuel to see how long and
how hard a stream of fuel would flow. Is it doing it in all gears?

Simon, one other thing. I had been using Metzler's MEZ4 on the front.
Both times the bike was always twitchy. The next time I used a Pirelli
GTS on the front no more twitch, the bike is dead stable. Both are the
same size with the same rear tire on back.

Mike, Lang has also thrown us another curve. Seems he's also makng them
with spigots front and rear. Put one on a friends here two months ago
and rear tubes were on piece. Greg Hollis got one and it has seperate
spigots like the older system.

Howie, the standard ones work well, change them around 4,000, the bike
will stay sharp and mileage good. The platinum are more intended for
race applications where constant 10,000 plus hammers them and a more
reliable plug that can hold up is needed.

Tyler, with the platinum the extra cost doesn't warrant it. Comparing it
to tires, shocks, wheel sizes is a different ball game. A stock motor
doesn't need the extra durability of a platinum plug. The reason I said
4,000 was that I noticed a difference in gas mieage. If you running 200
plus at

Too large a gap and they won't work. Unless you have hotter coils to
provide the extra juice to make them fire, with the larger gap there is
more resistance and you need more power to get a spark across the gap.

in a straight line, but trying to use it otherwise is another matter.
Also if ever in the Houston area, take care with the "plastic bikes". I
know of quite a few that will and do run sub 10's, and thats not turbo
or nitrious.
