We've been using CentOS for all our Linux servers (other than those where
vendor software requires us to use RHEL in order to get support), and have
a couple of systems on CentOS 5 now. No problems at all. Seems nice and
stable.

I believe you're correct - you need a CPU that supports virtualization to
run Windows in Xen. I plan on getting an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Windsor that
supports virtualization so I should be all set there. I believe Windows XP
can run within Xen but I'm not sure if Vista can (not that I would want to
