i am very new to virtualbox and to debian, so please be kind:
When i call ls -l on /cdrom at my debian i get total 0, but why is
the cdrom empty?
What i did before:
1) I created a virtual machine for Linux / debian.
2) I added the netinst CD of debian as cdrom to the virtual machine.

I have an Intel 82801AA AC'97 Audio Controller in my virtual windows 7
box, running on OpenSolaris in VirtualBox-3.0.10. The sound is choppy
and distorted. This also happened on VBox-3.0.8
Windows XP machines run fine. Is this a known issue?

I get the message connect: Network is unreachable when i ping my
router from my debian (in guest system).
Host=Windows XP Prof.
Guest=Debian lenny
The GUI is in german so my be the translation is not exact.

I do not have general network problems.
E.g. i can ping my router (192.168.8.1) from my host (192.168.8.111)
successfully.
So i hope you can help me to find out want´s went wrong in my debian /
virtual machine...
