running sqwebmail. Is it ok to use mysql for authentication?
Also, when i configured sqwebmail, i configured it

.
Do i have to reconfigure my sqwebmail
then?

Hi,
I've noticed that in CVS version Ken sent us besides vpopmaild there is
spamassassin handle. Ken, could you please describe in few word how it is
goin to do the job?
Will it allow to set per-user SA options like treshold? (I hope so :-).

I get this error whilst configuring
vpopmail;
configure: error: Unable to find your MySQL inc

what does it mean? I chose to use mysql
authentication.
Jaz.
It's POP-before-SMTP. Personally, I like the idea of SMTP AUTH better, but
both work...

When you configure, include enable-incdir=/path/to/MySQL/include/directory/
Mine was /usr/local/mysql/include/

Its looking for you mysql include files. Depending on your
system they may be in /usr/lib
rather than /usr/lib/mysql or
/usr/local/lib/mysql
Try using --with-incdir=/usr/lib

Hi All,
Im in the process of setting up a new server with a large disk array
of sata disks running on debian and im wondering if I should stick with
ext3 or go with reiserFS. Whats your experiences been either way?
cheers
Shane
I've had awful experiences with reiserfs. I've had many reisterfs file
systems totally bomb on me -- not fun. Personally, I use XFS when possible
and find it to be the fastest and most stable file system on the planet.
Never had a problem with it.
Ext3 is good too.
Thanks,
Chris Miller

Ive started getting the same error that a few others have mentioned
recently in 5.4.3. I havnt changed anything, and I think its only
started since upgrading to 5.4.3. I ran 5.4.0-rc2 for a long while
prior to upgrading and don't think I saw the error once then.

Hi,
No, but it will work against a 5.3.x or a 5.4.x production server. I
compiled the 5.2.2 version and then just used the vpopmaild binary.

We have been running this particular setup for about a year
now... I am happy with the overall performance, however when
things break, they have a tendancy to break badly especially
with MySQL's replication.
We had a problem with our NFS store dropping out from under the NFS
server*
I don't think samba gives the proper filesystem semantics
that would be needed for this to happen.
Thanks!
The other option though, is that
vpopmail does support a master/slave setup where any writable
queries go to server X while readable ones are done locally for
