I installed vpopmail-bin v 5.8.3-1 on debian woody (along with a bunch
of other packages for a full qmail/courier/mysql mail system).
I noticed in the /var/lib/vpopmail/etc directory the file vpopmail.sql:
create database if not exists vpopmail;
grant all privileges on vpopmail.* to
I don't know what version that is either... but it seems to not come
from debian's crap, but an altogether temporary case of dyslexia on my

We weren't using a vpopmail.mysql file in 5.3.8. Username/password was

I suggest trying 5.4, a lot of improvements have been made. I personally
would not know why vpopmail
