Dear List I am trying to trace a quotation from Giustinianiâs Discorso sobre la musica in which he writes about accompanying the voice with theorbo, guitar, harpsichord or organ and refers to Kapsberger as writing arie to be sung all spagnola or allâitaliana. I just cannot track it down on line or in my files.
