Can't get on the net unless you grease and beat it.
Doesn't do more than 256 colors, 64MB limit, and it's
slooow if it's doing anything but going out a
window.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the Performa 6214 was the equivelant
of a PowerMac 6100/60... As I remember it was in no way related to the
5200/6200 series.

two DOS boxes I use for RD and old DOS games.

4400's have the words PowerPC just to the left of
the floppy slot as well as
ventilation holes below the leading edge of the
machine on the front. I doubt
this pic is one of a 4400.
The picture had been flopped. If you notice, the
on/off switch for the monitor is also on the left.

the jpeg and flop it. I just did. It's a 6100.

called Computer Recyclers in town. Mostly peecee stuff, but a decent

1994 and even though it is slow and crippled it has

I meant the 6214. The SIMMs are still worth about $15 or so. $20 plus
shipping new on RAMSeeker, although I despise Coast to Coast.

Thanks for the info. I'll have a go soon to see if I can get it up and
running. The only thing that may be a problem is the internal IDE drive in
the PB 150 which may not be fully supported by the kernel.
