How little gain exactly? Your company's trade secrets? The administrator

Hi There,
i'm trying RealVNC since yesterday and i look this nice option:
-connect
allowing a server to connect the client, a server orginated connection
this should solve most problems if server is behind a router doing NAT
and we (client) dont know its IP, doesnt it ?
Btw the -connect option
Hi All...
When I start vncviewer (4.0b4) and then click cancel instead of giving a
password, I get a error box that says authorization failed. It seems like it
should just quit without the error box that requires me to click ok.
Thanks,

It looks like the VNC server crashes with a message box if it loses
its TCP/IP connection; for example our T-1 goes down periodically. Is
there any way to have the service NOT pop up an error; and have it
restart the service instead, so users can log in again?
Thanks,

Hello:
My wife is about to have a baby (due 9/25), and I've been trying to figure out
how to get VNC to work through my office's firewall so that I can work from
home once the baby comes. I've read through several dozen help articles, and
postings to this list trying to figure it out, but the
Hi All...
I just saw the new documentation on 4.0b4 vncviewer...
I withdraw my previous comments about ctl up/down stuff. I thought that F8
was a unix thing and so I ignored it. The F8 works great for nested vnc
sessions. Cool!
Thanks,

Hi All...
I just tried out a nested vnc session (all three machines win2k). The F8
stuff worked great.
I noticed some strange cursor behavior. The cursor movement was slow and
erratic and at times I had the old local box dot cursor. I had both
sessions configured for local rendering.

I cannot find such option in Beta 4. This option always me to prevent

Although I like to think of myself as computer savvy, this whole
thing has made me feel like I know nothing!
Trying to get VNC to work through a firewall has done that to me, too, so
unfortunately I'm not much use.
I'd like to wish you and your wife the best of luck, though. One piece of
