Something on your computer is changing the value - you may want to scan it
for viruses or other malware that might be tampering, and ensure that you
don't have any policies in effect that might break things.

That did not work for me either. Is there any good reason, why the
Xresources handling is removed from 4.1? Is it removed all together?
Can I compile the source with this feature enabled?
First of all, I would like to thank the quick reply and the good will.
However, the problem is still there.
Now I get a different error message connection closed unexpectedly, this
happens every time I retry.
Any other ideas?
