Floyd,
Your problem is that you must edit the Default Properties. You will
need to log on at the machine's console and start the service. When it
displays the Default Properties dialog, enter a password and click OK.
Then go to Start-Programs-RealVNC-VNC Server-Show Default Properties
I'm too lazy to get up and walk over to the machine and re-attach a keyboard
and monitor and mouse.
So am I... www.darkage.co.uk and download fastpush. :-)
BTW, for everyone else (who may be interested). I've recently uploaded a later
edition of Fastpush. This one adds a whoami type icon to
Floyd,
I've had it perform flawlessly so far, but I've done clean installs after nuking
everything VNCish in the registry. The methodology I have used is below.
When I go back and check, I see that the only user-specific data is a VNCHooks

| Well, that would make sense except that none of these boxes.. whether

I think your issue is you are trying to do this from a terminal session.
The service needs to be installed and configured from the console. This
is so that the reg keys go in the right place for the local machine and
not the terminal session.

Yes, but its silly that this can't be shored up a bit. It doesn't help that
I'm too lazy to get up and walk over to the machine and re-attach a keyboard

already have

Floyd,
I'm going to try to get an MSI install prepped within the next day or two. I
have it halfway there, it just needs service setup configured correctly.
