About the only thing I can think of that vnc changes is the load on the machine and the network connection to it. This might affect speed of opening dialog boxes and other responses. Could your script be failing on that? To test, perhaps you could make something that kick's off the test after 5

A few things: - when on your lan, always use the lan's internal adresses, but I think you know that. - try viewing home desk 1 from home desk 2 and vice-versa - if the above does work, it's something with the wireless stuff. Have you done things to secure the wireless that might interfere here?
