VNC Server Version 3.3.7 - Modified Win32 Binary

Well I got the VNC source and edited and recompiled it. Tray icon does
not show up, and all messageboxes have been suppressed. Everything works
as usual (I think) except for those things. All command line switches
used will do what they are supposed to do and act normally. So if you
try to open another instance of VNC while one is running or use any
command line switches, no warnings or notifications will show up. So
remember that. To set the properties, use the command line switch
-settings or -defaultsettings. The dialog will show, except if you set
the registry key to not allow it. If you do not have the password or
other values already set in the resgistry, the settings dialog will pop
up like normal. So remember if you are going for a silent install, set
up the registry settings first, then install vnc from the command line,
or however else you choose.

I know I really should be releasing this but many people seem to have
legitimate uses for hiding the icon. I am not trying to hurt the VNC
community, just trying to add in an option that was needed by many. I
really hope it does not force antivirus software to put VNC on their
lists, so I am going to limit distribution. It is a great program, and I
love open source. I hope this does not damage the VNC initiative in any
way. Thank you AT&T for making such a great, free, open source program,
and I hope this little goody helps out others a bit. If the authors
would like, I can stop distribution of this at any time. Just give me a
holler.

If you want a zipped no icon & no messagebox version, email me, and I
will send it. I also have the modified source if anyone cares to take a
look. Also please tell me if there is a bug, if something does not work
as a result of the modification. Check the regular version to see if the
same bug exists first.

Filesize:
winvnc.exe - 228 KB
othread2d.dll - 21.0 KB
vnchooks.dll - 20.5 KB

Packed:
RealVNC - Modified Server.zip - 181 KB

Why are the file sizes smaller than the origioanls?
These files are a bit smaller than the originals. When compiled, file
size was quite a bit higher, which led me to believe the files had been
packed. So I packed my recompiled files and my packer must have squished
them a bit more.
