News release below focuses on plasmons but the structure sounds very much like
a Casimir cavity formed between the nanowire and silver surface with 5nm
spacing. Maybe light just “upconverts” while in the cavity...

Preparing flow-through Casimir cavities might be as simple as:
1. Anodize a clean aluminum surface to a sufficient depth,
creating an alumina nano-pore array surface.
2. Remove the aluminum substrate by etching.
3. Aluminize the alumina pores to create flow-through Casimir

Horace,
This is very provocative. Perhaps a simple static (pressure differential)
experiment could be 'telling' without going all the way to dynamic
circuit... IOW is flow through really necessary, given that Raney nickel
could provide the necessary cavities, in a static colloid, so that normal
Expanding on an idea posted here earlier.
The Casimir force is hypothesized here to be at least part of the van
der Waals force that can bind noble gas atoms like Argon, or
molecules, especially symmetric molecules, like CCL4. This suggests
that moving van der Waals bound molecules

The inertial thruster paper made me consider a few things that I'll just
throw out there for consideration and comment.
1. Energy extraction seems much easier than a thruster in that there is
no need to organize the orientation, I was confused by the papers on
rigid cavities in a weak
I have been continuing to read papers by Puthoff, and others relating to
ZPE, and some others relating rigid cavities to gravity and have some
questions about what is the common ground. I take it that my relativistic
theory is not common but how about the source of the plasma - Does the
mainstream
