Today CHP is rational, but with cheap LENR it is not so sure. My quick computation on Defkalion Hyperions, is that it can produce heat at 100$/kWth (installed power is the main factor, consumption negligible), and probably much less in mass production. Meanwhile a micro-turbine less than 100kW is

I've seen some buzz that implies Swedish District Heating may take up Hydro Fusion's E-Cat offer but when I chased it down everything pointed to just one article self-published by Russ George [1] that actually only suggests SDH as a suitable candidate. Anyone know anything more? [mg] [1]

I think that was just Russ George speculating. But he makes a good point. This would be an ideal application for heat at this temperature and volume. Process heat at similar temperatures is widely used in various industries such as making carpets or curing wood. Process heat and district heating
