I'm not clear about how you confirmed the NAS files were deleted, did
you use an independent method to confirm that (like log onto the NAS and
look at the file system location) or do you just mean you're not seeing
them in the database on mpd client any more?
What I did was set the 'ro' flag in the alix /etc/fstab and in the
/etc/exports file on the remote NAS host. That ensures both the remote
NFS server will be only accepting read-only nfs connections
and the alix will only try to mount ro
On the NFS host (at IP 192.168.1.105)
