It is possible that the bots can read the number questions.
I fear it's not bots - it's known already that there are companies
offering people's time to fill in captchas at a cheap price :/

So, what I have done is to remove the QuestyCaptcha and replaced it with
ReCaptcha again, to avoid problems with NLC projects. Let's see if this
brings in more spam again -

As last resort, we can always at least temporarily move to manual account
approval. This is tedious, but can come to rescue in case the spam issues
grow faster than we can act.
