and the issue with the subsitevirtualpages not allowing to have localized title/lable. A ugly workaround would be to have the virtual page hidden and to create a site-local virtual page that then has the page from the other subsite as backend, but that's kinda ugly, I'll check whether one can extend the SubsiteVirtualPage with a data extension to have the title/navigation label translatable.

And what's left is how to deal with the footer / translations - the suggestion to use the Privacy Policy (localized term for privacy policy), Imprint (localized term for imprint) is easiest to keep consistent, so I think that's the way to go. (So expect Homepage.PrivacyPolicyLabel, Homepage.ImprintLabel,.... to appear this week)
