Everyone setting up their own drupal site is /not/ collaboration. That is everything doing his/her own thing. If you cannot give an explanation, why there are 4 drupal sites necessary, why it would make sense to use four different sites, I stick with my opinion: It is a waste of efforts and time.

Has anyone noticed that the mailing list nickname for Internationalisation is i10n instead of i18n? The name is derived from the phonetic pronounciation of Intern-EIGHTEEN-alisatioN hence i18n. i10n is a short name for localisation, which by definition is formatting like numbers, dates and money.
