[libreoffice-website] SilverStripe installation

2010-10-31 Thread Florian Effenberger

Hi,

I'm currently preparing the server for SilverLight. Can someone
enlighten me on how the multi-domain setup works? Can we have de.libo
with German content, www.libo with English content and fr.libo with
French content?

How do I need to configure Apache? At the moment, all these are virtual
sites. Any special configuration required?

Thanks,
Florian

 Sure, that's no problem -

..and you can have www.libo with english content as main language, but
still have translated pages
http://pumbaa.ooodev.org:7780/ for example is main-language english,
but has translations for some pages - those are available via links in
the page, and as alternatives in the html-code for the browser to
pick:
link rel=alternate type=text/html title=Home hreflang=fr-FR
href=/home-fr/ /
link rel=alternate type=text/html title=Home hreflang=de-DE
href=/home-de-DE/ /

(that (or something similar) was what I meant with the requiremet that
it must offer translation support)

 How do I need to configure Apache? At the moment, all these are virtual
 sites. Any special configuration required?

(I sent a mini-howto via PM)

ciao
Christian

Nah, I don't want to work with SilverLight on that servr :-)

It's still called Silver*Stripe* ;-)

ooops... mea culpa. Busy day. :)

You would just create one virtual site, the handing of subsites is
done by silverstripe.

Ok. I'll follow-up with you directly (don't want to make the server
configuration publically here on the list for security reasons, hope
that's understandable).
