As soon as enough of you have discussed something to make it worthwhile, you'll be able to search the archive of discussions and we believe that, in time, you'll find this a valuable resource. Initially, we're starting out with a single forum but we're likely to divide it up into special topics as soon as we all discover what these turn out to be. Like any conference, the whatis forum is likely to turn out to be something of an adventure and we hope you'll want to take part. In fact, you just may have some topic on your mind right now - perhaps a valuable tip to share with other whatis users - and we're looking for the first contributor to post it. As we write this, it's a "tabula rasa" of a forum (0 Total Posts). Feel free to tell us what you're doing, how you're using whatis.com, what current IT issues concern you, even how we could improve a little bit. To post a message, you need to be a registered member (most of you probably already are) and to create a handle (instructions on the right side of the page) and then...well, just say something!! Incidentally, all of our other TechTarget sites also have forums and many of these have a great number of searchable messages archived. Once you register for one, you are automatically registered for them all. Be talking to you in the forum!  Featured Site: SearchSecurity User education 101 SearchSecurity's Crystal Ferraro tests us all this week with her "Quiz: Security awareness for end users," a fast 10-question multiple-choice that we hope everyone will get 100 on. But probably not. It's hard to know everything (although that one little missing bit of knowledge may hurt someday). Take the quiz. We dare you! Lots more than a quiz is going on at SearchSecurity this week - for example, Tom Hickman of Connected Corporation and Roy Sanford of EMC will be discussing "Best Practices for Data Security and Storage Integrity" in a live online event on Thursday, June 6th (2 pm EDT). You might want to pre-register for this Webcast.  Reader Feedback: What readers think about cheat sheets by Margaret Rouse, Assistant Editor Albert Einstein once cautioned a group of students "Never memorize anything you can look up". It seems that a lot of whatis.com readers agree! Last week we asked for contributions to our newest fast reference, Our Favorite Cheat Sheets. Wow! Did we get a lot of useful stuff! (That's a technical word we here at whatis toss out from time to time.) People sent us cheat sheets for Microsoft Outlook, common AS/400 commands, creating Domino URLs, Linux "how-to'" directions, circuit types, LAN cables, and lots and lots of other IT-related topics. We'll be adding two or three cheat sheets a week so stop back and take a look from time to time. Here are just two of the amazing things we learned: BEST TIME SAVER You can use shift+delete to permanently delete a message from Outlook or Outlook Express without having to wait while it gets sent to the trash bin. You can speed things up even more by using the Ctrl key to select multiple messages before using shift+delete!
