Can you suggest your users to try WinPcap 3.01a? It fixes a bug in PacketGetAdapterNames() that causes problems similar to the ones that you describe. Loris I have an app that uses winpcap 3.0 and about 20,000 people who have installed it over the last few weeks. I've gotten a handful of

Answering my own message ;) ... just played around with the DAT file again and found out that changing items in the file works, while adding at the bottom (like I was doing) won't. Sure enough, the moment I added something new in the [Application] filter area, at the top, my new filter showed
