I have WiX files that deploys features based on conditions. However I am having
trouble creating a patch (msp) for this WiX file, especially for files that are
deployed by conditional statements.
I am following the recommended process for creating msp.
1. Candle patch.wxs for creating wixobj
2. Light patch.wixobj -out patch.pcp
3. Msimsp to create msp.
There are no errors in patch creation process. For default features (i.e. those
features that are installed without any conditions) the patch contains correct
set of fixed files. However for features that are installed with condition
statements, msimsp does not compare files in conditional statements. Any
pointers?
