I see, so say I want to
use temporary files during install as part of a custom action, but dont
want the files to be on the system after execution. Is there a built in
way to do this? Or do I

Youd have to do it
via your own custom action. What is your scenario? In general you
should avoid custom actions because its very difficult to write
