I realize the hip new thing to do is install into C:\Program Files\Whatever.
But I have a legacy app that absolutely must be installed into C:\Whatever. I
tried this:

Directory Id=INSTALLDIR Name=Whatever
But then it wants to install my
@lists.sourceforge.net
Subject: [WiX-users] Install to C:\Whatever

MSI nazi says no logo compliance for you! :)
This may be splitting hairs, but would you need to specify a base volume
here? Something like
Directory Id='TARGETDIR' Name='SourceDir'
