I just wanted to give you an update. We still don't know *why* this
happened, but we did get it resolved. Basically the host moved the
site to a completely different server. Everything's running just fine
now. I'm assuming he's looking at the old one, trying to figure out

That sounds like a JavaScript
Did you check the ownership of the directories on the server? This happened
to me in the past when it didn't recognize the site as the owner of the
files. If you're not familiar with this just contact host and ask them to
check.
