Just to let you all know, I tested the WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin (http://techie-buzz.com/) and it worked. I did a backup of the database, and let that plugin rip, and it upgraded 2.3.3 to 2.5. This was on one of my sites that is not very important to me, so I used it as a test.
