and plus as bonus -embedded IT HelpDesk

can you recommend any inventory software? I'd like to track software,
installed by wpkg and installed manually. It should be Opensource and
Samba-compatible, i.e. no Active Directory and no Windows Server.

Bad installation...I MEAN REALLY BAD install... at least on 1.x version.
Have a clean and nice interface, hard to customize reports but usable.
