I'm fairly new to x2go and I'm using x2goserver on Ubuntu 14.04 (with xfce
and mate) and it's working pretty good. (aside from some problems with the
client on win8.1)
But when using Ubuntu(/Xubuntu) 14.10, it works but the
layout/look-and-feel is not the same as when I log into the

are using the same desktop on both, that is Mate or KDE or whatever, is the
same both locally and when you come in over x2go?

When using 14.04 I don't have this issue. It's only when using 14.10 that I
do.
The screenshot was on Xubuntu and indeed I now tried plain Ubuntu and
installed mate, it doesn't give me those errors.
After installing xfce (on plain Ubuntu), that error and slightly different
look of the desktop
