difficult. You can check www.freshrpms.net for Xconfigurator. They might
have it. They have provided many of the s/w that was dropped from RH8.0
(e.g. mpg123 etc.).

It's a known problem and has been fixed in the new version of driver
(probably hasn't been released yet).
