Recently there has been a discussion of the IEGD XFree driver developed
by
Intel. This driver is developed and maintained by the Embedded Intel
Architecture Division (EID) for use on embedded platforms and should not
be
confused with the Extreme graphics drivers developed for
Matt,
Is there any chance Intel will release the source to the IEGD
driver? many of the features like native mode setting and dualhead
would be nice to have in the open driver. I'm sure if the source were
available the features could be merged in pretty easily.

I am successfully using the two video outputs under windows XP, but I have
problems under Linux...
The drivers provided by Intel on the Web don't seem to work properly in
dual head.

I was running KDE 3.2.1 and was selecting the Tools menu in Konquerer
when the X server crashed with this error message. The menu did not
complete drawing whenthe server crashed. The computer has the following
configuration

733 MHz Pentium III
256 MB RAM
i810 chipset (onboard)

XFlush(disp);
That should do it... I hope :)
BTW, I would have grabbed the keys insted of the whole keyboard.
