I'm trying to troubleshoot some horrible X11 client performance when
clients are run over an SSH tunnel. By horrible performance I
basically mean painfully slow window refreshes/redraws. And, yes, this
is with SSH compression enabled. And I'm aware of encryption overhead,
too. :)
You need to start your font server. Or better yet, alter your config
file so that you don't need to use a font server.
