I have a PC installed with XFree86 version 3.3.5. The installation does not
include XIE (X Image Extension).
Currently, I am in need to update the existing X installation to include
XIE.
And, I need to do it without deleting the existing X installation.
Is it possible to do it by mod

OK i tried what you suggested but first of all there's no such file in my machine.I also tried to get to it systematically but in /opt there isn't anything inside. Please advise on what to do next.

I'm running redhat 9.0 kernel 2.4.20-6.

Hi,I got this error on my machine sometime back and now i cant load X.If xfs is running it just keeps on trying to load X but with nosuccess.It doesnt even give me a chance to login using the shellprompt.
Also attached is a copy of the Xfree86.0.log file.Please assist.
