My system spec is just like yours, Leaktek Ti4200, now I have my debian 
3.0 running.  At first it didn't start and said that the screen was 
found but could not config.  Then I knew that I was using XFree86 4.1.0 
where this is using XFConfig-4 instead of XFConfig, and I read the 
information from nvidia to get the idea that XFConfig-4 is using the 
driver "nv" but this is not working for GF4 series, you have three choices:

1.  Upgrade XFree86 to 4.3 because "nv" is supporting GF4 series now
2.  Install to nVidia binary driver
3.  Simply change the driver "nv" in XFConfig-4 to "vesa"
I am using the solution 3.  But I am going to try the nVidia binary 
driver and XFree86 3.0 later.

login, so i dont even know how to get the file to show it to you 
guys.  But as for this problem, maybe it has already happened, and 
somone had the same issue and knows how i can fix it.  My monitor is a 
ViewSonic GS790.  If you need to know anything, just e-mail me back.  
i sure hope someone knows what i can do, because i sure dont.
