[XFree86] build failure

here is that is looks like something I ran into when working to get a successful build of xfree86 on the mac a couple of years ago and I wonder if anyone remembers this was an error that occurred then (I did not keep all the dumps) and what the fix was if it did occur. Thank you. Frank J. R
