Note that if you have booted into a 'broken' state, I believe you need to
reboot without the cable plugged into the tv once to fix it at all.

I have a Radeon 9000 graphics card and a 19 monitor. For some reason my
screen refresh during normal operation (web browing email etc) seems very
slow. Is there anything I can check to see why this is so?
